Care Instruction

For the first wash, soak the Kalamkari fabric in a bucket of salt water and then rinse it to help reduce color bleeding. From the second wash onward, hand wash separately in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals and rinse thoroughly. Dry the fabric flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight. Iron on the reverse side or place a thin cloth over the fabric and use medium heat to preserve the natural dyes and intricate designs. Do not machine wash. Do not dry clean the fabric.
